Terms of Use

Effective September 17, 2026

The short version: use Patlat for yourself, be nice about it. Lifetime Premium and the cosmetics in the Shop are one-time purchases handled by Apple or Google — request refunds there first. The app is provided as-is, and nothing here takes away any consumer right the law already gives you.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Patlat ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. License to use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the App Store's (or Google Play's) usage rules and applicable law. This license ends if you materially breach these Terms, as described in Termination below — nothing in this license revokes any right you have under applicable law.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, or attempt to extract its source code, except where applicable law permits it despite this restriction.

3. Your content

Any bubble text, headspace names, reminders, or photos you create in Patlat are yours. You are responsible for having the rights to any photo or text you add, and for keeping your own backups if that matters to you. This content is stored in Patlat's local app storage and is not uploaded to Patlat's server; Apple or Google operating-system backups may copy this local data according to your own settings and those providers' policies. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is (and isn't) handled.

4. Purchases

Patlat offers non-consumable, one-time purchases. These include Lifetime Premium and separate cosmetic products such as bubble shapes, pop effects, scene looks, and pop tools. Lifetime Premium unlocks the premium features shown in the app, including additional headspaces, the expanded bubble limit, and Calendar/reminder features; it does not automatically include separately sold cosmetics. These products do not automatically renew.

Apple or Google displays the applicable product, price, currency, and taxes before purchase, and processes the store payment. Patlat uses a purchase-validation service, as described in the Privacy Policy, to verify transactions and manage entitlements. Purchases can be restored only through the applicable store/platform and its account systems; Patlat does not promise cross-platform transfer.

5. Refunds

Refunds are governed by applicable law and the applicable store's policies. Request a refund from Apple or Google first: reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS) or Google Play's refund process (Android). Patlat provides purchase support and may process or approve a refund where the applicable store's tools and law permit. A refund, chargeback, or entitlement reversal may remove access to the purchased features.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its normal operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it.

7. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including (without limitation) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reminder notification will always be delivered on time by the operating system.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including loss of data stored locally on your device.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights, statutory warranties, refunds, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory protections in the country or region where you live.

9. Third-party services

Apple and Google provide the applicable store, billing, and account services you use to buy and restore purchases. Patlat also uses a purchase-validation service, as described in the Privacy Policy, to verify and manage those purchases. Those services are governed by their own platform policies where applicable.

10. Apple and Google as distribution platforms

Apple and Google are the app-distribution and billing platforms through which you obtained Patlat. They are not a party to these Terms and are not the developer of the App. Apple's App Store uses Apple's own standard license agreement for the App; these Terms are supplemental terms between you and Armağan Biçer. Your use of Patlat is also subject to the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from.

11. Termination

A material breach of these Terms ends your license to use the App, and you must stop using it and uninstall it. You may also stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. A change becomes effective on the revised effective date shown above and will not remove any right that cannot lawfully be waived or reduced. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except that nothing here overrides any mandatory consumer-protection law of the country or region where you live.
